1. Build your TEAM - Selecting your team of advisors and real estate professionals may be the most important decision you make.

2. GOAL & Credit = Loan Options - While your credit is important...It is your goal that should define your loan options.

3. FIND a Home - Finding a home can be a long and time consuming process. It is important to know what you want before you start.

4. CONTRACT - Once you’ve found the right home, it is important to make an offer to the seller that works for you and one that gives you an out.

5. ANALYSIS of the Property - There are two areas of property analysis to consider: Property condition and property value.

6. LOAN Analysis - Know what type of loan you are getting and how the fees are structured. Always ask for a good faith estimate.

7. CLOSE on the property - Closing usually takes place at a title/escrow company. Compare your final figures to your good faith estimate.

8. OWNERSHIP - Now that you own the property, what should you expect as a home owner.

9. GROWTH - There are many benefits to being a home owner, learn to utilize those benefits. Start planning for future real estate transactions.
